Visa Requirements
Belize is a country that welcomes international travelers and for this reason, every effort is made to keep immigration formality to a minimum. When traveling to Belize, visitors must possess a current passport valid for no less than six months after the intended period of stay in Belize.
Nationals of the following countries do not require a visa to enter Belize as a tourist for a period of 30 days.
- Citizens of the Caribbean Community Member States (CARICOM)
- Citizens of the Commonwealth Realms & Monarchies
- Citizens of the European Union Member States (EU)
- Citizens of the United States of America and dependent territories
- Costa Rica
- Chile
- Guatemala
- Iceland
- Mexico
- Norway
- Panama
- South Africa
- Switzerland
- Tunisia
- Uruguay
All other visitors to Belize must be in possession of passports and visas, and should contact the nearest Belizean Consulate or Embassy for details on obtaining visas before travelling.
