Regardless of where you travel, minor aches, pains or complications are always possibilities. Be sure to pack some over-the-counter pills, and of course, your prescribed pills in your carry-on, so they are readily available.
Easy choices for a carry-on can include:
- Pain relievers
- Hand sanitizers
**Hint: Always keep prescription medication in your carry on**
Snacks/Refreshments
Travelling can leave you hungry and a bit parched. Avoid feeling uncomfortable and grumpy because of hunger and thirsty by packing some snacks and refreshments.
You won’t be spending countless hours flying across Belize, so you there’s no need to have a big meal beforehand. However, packing some small snacks, like a granola bar, should be sufficed to satisfy your hunger until your next meal. Temperatures in Belize can rise as high as 95 degrees Fahrenheit, so it’s wise to stay hydrated. The best option is a bottle of water, but you can opt for a beverage with a little more flavor, such as Gatorade.
Once you’ve packed these in your carry-on, you’re ready to fly to your destination.
